Why Top Goaltending Exists
The goaltending position has evolved, but many development programs haven't. Too many goalies are taught generic, outdated techniques or are left to figure out the mental and visual aspects of the game on their own.
Top Goaltending was built to bridge that gap. We don't just run drills; we provide a complete development pathway. Larry Moberg
Founder & Head Coach
Larry Moberg is a former NCAA Division I and ECHL goaltender, Allan Cup Champion, and AJHL Champion. He spent eight years as an AJHL assistant coach and currently works as an AJHL scout and evaluator. With degrees in Exercise Science and Education, Larry combines high-level playing experience, current junior-hockey insight and an educator's approach to help goaltenders develop technically, physically and mentally.

Kael Moberg
Goalie Instructor
Kael started helping out as a junior instructor three years ago. He is currently playing junior hockey and really enjoys working with goalies regardless of their age or ability. He loves researching and trying out new techniques in his own game. He looks forward to helping goalies of all ages become the best goalies they can.
